Congratulations to Millie. www.facebook.com/share/p/1DNEfoaSZ2/📣We're thrilled to share a remarkable update on Millie! As many of you will recall, The Kiwanis Club of Glenelg recently donated a purpose-built racing wheelchair to Amelia (Millie), with the invaluable support of our Corporate Member, Matt Smith, and his business Seacliff Paint & Panel. His wife Agnes Chong also donated. Millie has just completed the Gold Coast Marathon 10km and 5km races, achieving a first place in the 5km race and a personal best in the 10km as well — an inspiring accomplishment that highlights her extraordinary determination and talent. Our Club sends congratulations to her.
Kiwanis Glenelg Club is so proud of Millie's journey and accomplishments, and we are immensely grateful to everyone who contributed to help her with her dream.
Millie's story truly shows the power of community support and generosity. Thank you to everyone who made this possible for Millie, especially Kiwanis members Matt and Agnes —your kindness has changed lives and inspired us all. Here is a photo of Millie with her racing wheelchair. 😊 City of Holdfast Bay City of Marion City of Adelaide #KidsNeedKiwanis #KiwanisNeedsYou
